Easter Fun!

Tayah on Easter in her pretty dress and bow. What a doll!
My handsome little boy in his Easter outfit, that Mommy and Daddy gave him on Sunday morning.
We started all the fun on Friday morning by going over to my sister's house to decorate cookies and dye some eggs. We did it in shifts this year, because there are so many kiddos. It was so fun!
Friday afternoon we went to Brian's parents and colored more eggs and had pizza and then had a hunt. Brian's parents always spoil them and they had such a fun time together.
All my side of the family's kids at the PC hunt on Saturday morning.
Brian's parents always buy the kids matching outfits for the Saturday Easter party at Grandma Barker's. Here are all the girls, Grandma O. happened to have on a similar shirt, too.
Dallin in the cute shirt that Grandma O. gave him. All the boys looked super cute in their matching shirts and tan pants.
For the older kids at the Barker party, they put together a scavenger hunt with pictures in the eggs that ended up leading to some pretty good treat bags. Dallin found the egg in the hay stack, and was really excited about it.
Tayah gathering eggs at the Barker family party. By this time, she really understood what to do.
Here is what the Easter Bunny left. They had to search the house for their baskets, and Dallin was super fast at finding them. Tayah wasn't that into it, but of course loved the treats and toys.
We finished our weekend with a yummy Easter dinner and egg hunt at my Aunt Amelia's house. The kids got spoiled from their grandparents again, and had so much fun with their cousins! Here they are all together after the hunt.

How thankful we are for our Savior and the meaning of Easter. As well as great family and friends to celebrate the weekend with!

Baby Animal Days

Grandma and Grandpa O. invited all the kids to go to Baby Animal Days last Thursday. The weather wasn't so great, but we had the best time! As you can see, getting a good photo of all these little ones is pretty difficult. This is the best I got out of like 7 tries!
Here are most of the kids with Grandpa and a baby goat.
I loved this picture of Tayah, she is looking over the fence at the baby goats.
Thanks to Aunt Michelle, Dallin got his very first pet! We bought him some Dwarf African Frogs. They live in water all the time and have been super easy to take care of, so far.
Tayah giving the chick a kiss.

Dallin holding the bunny. He loved holding most of the animals, especially the snake!
Thanks Grandma and Grandpa O. for a great day! We loved it!!

first haircut and hair clips...

A few weeks ago we were at my Mom and Dad's and Tami had her scissors. So, I decided to have her give Tayah her first trim. I realize that she is almost 18 months old and hasn't had a hair cut. That is sad... But anyway, she just gave her a little trim to get rid of the mullet she was sporting. There was hardly any hair to clean up. She was so good the whole time and Daddy just sat in front of her to entertain. After it was over, she walked around the house spraying everyone with the water bottle.
This week, I bought Tayah some cute little hair things. I know, she doesn't have a lot of hair, but I still think she looks so cute with her little clip in. What a sweet little girl!
