Brighan Pool-- Cooper's Party

Angie took us all up to Brigham pool to celebrate Cooper's 4th birthday. It was a great party and so much fun!
Tayah and I on the big slide. She loved it!
Dallin went down the slide a ton! He was so excited that he could go down without floaties and by himself! After cupcakes and presents, they headed to the sand to play. Here is our cute girl with a dirty mug!

Thanks Catherine!

We had a great school year. I had a great year teaching and my kids did awesome. I know that our wonderful sitter had a lot to do with it! Catherine spent so much time with my little ones this year and I am so thankful to have people around us that love kids and are willing to care for them. I had her take some pictures of the kids on their last day there. Catherine didn't want to be in the shots.
Tayah, Shiloh, and Dallin being silly.
Now their cute smiling faces.
Eating their lunch.
We will miss Catherine! She did such a great job. When we go back after summer, Dallin will begin Kindergarten and aunt Michelle will be watching Tayah and Dallin before and after school on the days I work.
My kids have been blessed to have so many people love and care for them!

Memorial Weekend

Over Memorial Day weekend, we did our usual thing. We headed up to Memorial Park (just below Causey Dam) with a big group of family and friends. It was so fun and relaxing. Brian and I both felt like it was one of the best camping trips we have been on.
Here is Tayah and Grandpa Blake. She wore her hair in french braids for the first time, thanks to aunt Tami. What a doll. Lately she wants to be with Grandpa whenever he is around and I know that he loves it!
We ate a ton of yummy food while we were there. On Saturday we did our own meat and then had pot luck salads and dessert. I swear, pot luck is my favorite way to have a meal! On Sunday a lot of people who weren't camping with us, came up for dinner and there were a ton of dutch oven meats and then salads and desserts-- mmmm!
Dallin loves S'mores!

The kids made a little hide-out and would play in it or near it most of the time.
Dallin, Tayah, Brad, Griffin, and Cooper.
There are ground squirrels all over up there, and the kids were dying to catch one. The older ones built this trap. I thought it was so cute so I snapped a picture. There were like 15 kids standing about 5 feet from the bowl the whole time. Then seriously, 10 minutes later... they all start screaming that they caught one! They were so excited. I couldn't believe it worked with all of them over there. That little bugger was mad. He kept trying to bite the bowl to get out. But once he was out, he ran straight for the bushes.
On Monday morning most of the kids headed over to Red Rock Cafe, and went fishing in their pond. (Nick's uncle owns it) It is pretty much like a fish hatchery. Once the pole is in, you have a bite. Dallin was so serious as he reeled in his fish. Brian snapped several pictures of his cute little face. Dallin wouldn't touch the fish but was very excited to have caught one!
What a great time with a lot of great people! Can't wait for next year!
