Dallin's Birthday

Our little guy is now 5. I can't believe time has gone by this fast. He had a great birthday and party with all his cousins and a few friends. He chose to have a Lego Batman party, because he loves that game on the Wii.
This is what Mommy and Daddy gave him. He loves it and is getting pretty good at the games. We already have to set time limits!
Brian's mom and the amazing cake she made. She does such a wonderful job and they always turn out so darling!
This is Dallin's new thing. whenever he gets things he lines them all up. I guess so he can look at them. It cracks me up.
He got a lot of fun things. He got a zhu zhu pet, a Wii game, playdough, accessories for his DS, a new bat and balls to practice with, a scooter, and some clothes. So spoiled!
Blowing out his candles.
One more close up of the cake. So cute!!
Thanks to everyone for making Dallin's day so special!

Dallin is 5!

  • He is full of energy and plays so hard.

  • He loves sports

Potty Training..... Check!

She did it! Tayah made the final step and has been in panties for about 3 weeks now. She has still has the occasional accident, but has been doing great! We are even ready to go with out pull-ups for bed. I am so proud of her and so glad to be done with this, for the most part!
She picked out her panties and of course went with Dora, Minnie, and Princess.
Her little tush looks so cute in them!
Good job Girl!
We love you.
She has gotten so used to going on the potty that most of the time when she starts to go, she will look at me and say, "Don't say yay, Mommy." I guess she is over me cheering her on as she goes. It cracks me up. What a big girl.

Valentines Day

I do realize that I am almost an entire month late on this, but I think that is how life is when you have two little ones. Always running late... but we had a great weekend.

On Saturday afternoon the kids and I headed over to Grandpa and Grandma's for some activities. Here they all are in their Valentine shirts. So cute!
Brian's mom bought this fun kit, where the kids were able to make their own candy necklaces. They were way cute, but were eaten up in no time flat.
We did some bead work and turned them into magnets. Michelle's kids love these, and do them all the time. Here is Tricia helping Tayah make her cute heart magnet.
We had a heart lunch, with a heart shaped grilled cheese, two different types of heart jello, and cheetos. A childs dream lunch!
We also played some Valentine Bingo. We finished the afternoon with decorating Valentine sugar cookies. It was so fun and I know that my kids love spending time with their cousins and Grandparents. Thanks for a fun afternoon.
That night Brian and I took the kids to Olive Garden. We went there on our first date, so it is sort of a Valentine's day tradition. It was packed, but the kids were really good.
Sunday we headed over to my parents house for dinner. After we ate my Mom had a treasure hunt for the kids. She hid heart shaped boxes with money in some and candy in others. We also played a fun game that Katie brought, called "Don't eat Cupid!" It made me laugh. Most of the kids loved it, some were a little scared.
Like I said we had a great weekend filled with the people we love the most in this world!
