December Fun (Part 2)

Family Parties:
We had a few more family get-to-gathers in the middle of the month, and of course I forgot my camera.
We went to Classic Fun Center with my Mom's family and went skating. It was a lot of fun, my kids just rode around on their scooters and I even strapped on a pair of skates.
We went bowling with my Dad's family in Morgan. The kids loved it and Dallin bowled really well.
We got together with our Friends and had dinner at Derek and Erin's house and let the kids run wild in their basement. We decided to skip out on the lights, but enjoyed the time together.
Christmas Eve:
We usually spend Christmas Eve at my mom's house. We go over early and hang out and snack, and then the rest of the family gets there a little later. We always do presents from Cousins that night. Tayah got some cute little puppies from Ava.
Dallin got a Paper Jamz from Cooper.
We did sibling presents that night and my parents gave the kids their second gift. They all got head lamps with their names stitched on them. They will love them for camping.
We finished it off with some jammies from us.

Christmas Day:
Dallin and Tayah woke up around 7 and we started with presents. They were so excited and cute! I love Christmas and all the joy you get to see in others.
Tayah got this Barbie 4 wheeler. She loved it and because it was a beautiful morning she even got to try it out.
Dallin's big gift was a big remote control truck. He loved it too.
Here he is with one of his Star Wars guys.
After we opened presents we headed over to my Mom and Dad's for breakfast. We have a tradition to get together with my Aunt Amelia's family and eat. It was great to see everyone. Then we went to Brians parent's house and did presents with them. Needless to say, the whole room was full of gifts.
Cute Dallin waiting to open some presents.

Tayah and I with her stack.

What a wonderful month we had. Full of the good things in life. Family, Friends, and Food!

We love the spirit of this time of year, especially remembering the birth of the Savior of the World.

December Fun (Part 1)

We were super busy this December... Which is very typical for everyone. I love all the parties and time spent together, and, we had so much fun!
Ward Party:
Our ward did a "Night in Bethlehem" which was really nice. They had people dressed up and little shops around the gym for us to get our food. We also had a live Nativity. Some other fun things we did, Santa came for the kids. And, we have a great photographer in our ward and he took family pictures and then they printed one for us.
Dallin and Tayah with Santa. He gave them a picture of Christ and a candy cane.
Progressive Dinner:
My family does a fun tradition at the beginning of the month. We have a progressive dinner, where we visit every one's homes and see their Christmas decorations. Then we end up at my parent's house for dessert. They always give the Grand kids a their big gift that night. That way they have all month to play with it.
My cute family in front of our tree.

If you can't tell, Dallin is pumped to get Super Mario Brothers. I love his face in this picture!

Tayah got Alphie. This is a toy that was out when I was little, and they came back out this year. She loves to play games with this little Robot.
Visit From Santa:

Santa stopped by our house one night, on his way home to the North Pole. He just wanted to make sure that Dallin and Tayah were being good. It came on a perfect night... they had been fighting!

Barker Family Party:
This year the Barker Party was also on Brian's Birthday! But it was good to spend time with family. Santa came to visit the kids as usual.

Grandma Barker always gives the kids a pair of cute PJ's and the kids change right into them. I love this tradition.
