This weekend was Brian's 10 year high school reunion. I can't believe how things have changed since then. Jobs, school, marriage, kids... The list could go on and on. But, looking back it doesn't seem like it has been that long or that we are that different. Sometimes it seems like it just happened. Isn't that strange?
We had a good time with old friends, just catching up. It was surprising how easily the conversations came even though for some it had been 10 years since they last spoke to eachother. It is crazy to see how different everyone's lives are, but there was a lot of the same too. Married with kids and working.
I wish that I would have seen all these guys in high school. To see what they were really like. To see them in action in their glory days! But by the stories they tell, I might have thought they were jerks and steered clear of Brian. Thank goodness for maturity!
But, Brian is so grateful for the friends he has had through his life, and most of them are still close and he knows that he can count on them when he needs it. I am sure that all the fun times at RHS helped strengthen those bonds and so have the 10 years since!

I am sad that we missed out. I saw Trent and Natalie at Lagoon today and they said it was fun. Too bad Ryan is a party pooper. It was fun seeing you guys last week though and your kids sure are cute!!!
I too am sad we missed out :( I will tell you though that Derek really appreciates Brian and the great friend he has been throughout the many many years :)
That reminds me...we talked about an "adult date night"...with no kids :) Let us know when you are up for it!!
