Party, Party and More Parties!

Just like everyone else, our December is usually packed with parties! But we love being with our family and friends.

In early December we had our Costley Family party. We headed to a church for some yummy dinner, a talent show, and then Santa came.
My Camera batter died, which stinks, but I got one good picture of my mom and Quincey!
For the talents, Tayah sang a song we'll call "Bakery Shop" and Dallin sang "All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth" Which are both missing right now.
The next day we had our Olsen adult only party. We hosted this year and it went off wonderfully, except I always get cheated in the gift games! Ha ha.

In between these two parties, we had our annual Progressive Dinner with my family. We go to every house to see their fun decorations and have part of our meal, then head to my parents for dessert and some presents. This is when the kids get their big presents. This year, the money went into a pot and my parents got a variety to toys to stay at their house for all age groups including an air hockey table and Foosball.

Here are the girls at the Barker family party.
Another yummy meal, Santa, and jammies from Grandma Barker.

For the Judd family Party we went up to Weber State to bowl and have dinner. It was a lot of fun. We drew our groups so that we would mingle more, and then had some prizes in the mix too.

Some of the other fun parties we had, that of course I don't have pictures for...
Went to The Pizza Factory and lights with friends.
Had an adult friends party.
So blessed to be around so many fun people!

Gingerbread houses

Brian's mom has gotten the kids together the last few years at the first of December to decorate their own gingerbread houses.
She spends days baking the gingerbread, making the frosting, and hunting down the fun candies to decorate with.
My Kids love this so much!

Tayah hard at work.
After almost every frosting application, she would lick her frosting tip or eat a treat! But she did it almost all by her self and did an amazing job!

Sammy, Tayah, and Bailey

This year Dallin did his entirely by himself. As you can see on his shirt, he got very messy while doing it, but it turned out so fun!
I even got to decorate a house for Brian's Grandma Olsen. It was really fun. :)

Brian's mom and dad got the kids matching outfits for Christmas. Here they are all together, I know...this is the best one I got.
What another fun tradition!

Thanksgiving 2011

When it comes to Holidays we are pretty predictible.  We usually try to make it to both sides of the family and stick to our traditions. This Thanksgiving was no different. :)
We began the morning at my Mom and Dad's house. The boys went to shoot clay pigeons, and the girls just hung out. It was Dallin's first time going to the shoot. He LOVED it! He even brought home his empty shells.

In the afternoon we went to Dell and Ruth's for lunch. It was nice to have a small dinner together with Brian's parents, sisters and their families, Grandma Barker, and Tui and his family.

As you can see, someone loves her Grandpa's shoulder!

Sammy, Tayah, and Bailey

Korbin, Ty, and Dallin. I'm not sure where Bohdi had gone.

After lunch we headed to my Aunt Amelia's and Uncle Tim's house for dessert and football watching. I always forget to bust out the camera for the second half of the day.
We have so much to be thankful for and are so blessed.

This is what I am most thanful for!
I'm so glad that Heavenly Father brought me to Brian and sent us these three darlings!

Halloween 2011

Halloween was super fun, just like always. We had a few parties and the kids got way too many treats!
Here are their costumes...
Tayah=Bumble Bee, Dallin=Ninja, Quincey=Spider
On Sunday we had dinner and a little party at my Mom's house. Then the kids went Trick-or-Treating to all the Aunts.
Cord=Grandma, Ava=Butterfly, Cooper=Mario, Chole=Pirate, Mauri=Butterfly, Berkley(with Quincey)=Nerd, Redd=Football Player, Jadon=Jester, Jax=Skeleton, Brad=Luigi, Griffin=Ben 10, Crosby=Zebra, Tayah and Dallin.

We all met up for a few at Brian's parents before Trick-or-Treating.
Ty=Ninja, Sammy=Witch, Dallin, Michelle, Quincey, Tayah, Bohdi=Harry Potter, Korbin=Phineas
They all looked adorable. Korbin's head was awesome, but didn't get a good pic with it on.
After Brian's parents we headed out to do some Trick or Treating and the kids loved it, I even went out with them for a while.
Then Quincey and I headed home to pass out candy at our house while Brian took the kids out some more.
It was a super fun weekend!

October Fun!

We had a lot of fun things going on in October! Here is a little recap...
At the first of the month Grandma Ruth and Grandpa Dell had the kids over for a halloween dinner, crafts, and then gave them darling Halloween shirts, socks, and the girls hair things.
This isn't the greatest pic, but you get the idea...
They love all the fun things Grandma does!

Grandma even sent home a Haunted House for them to do together. Here they are with their final product in their cute shirts.

Our sweet Quincey

We took Dallin to see Thriller this year. It was a little scary, but he liked it. It was nice to spend some time with just him.
The guy in the picture below was an amazing dancer!

Tayah's preschool took a field trip to Black Island Farms. We took a tractor ride out to a field and she picked a pumpkin then we went and played on all the fun toys they have there. It was great Mommy-Tayah time.

What a fun month!

Quincey @ 4 Months

We took Quincey in for her 4 month check, and she is doing so well.
Weight: 13 lbs. 8 oz. (46th percentile)
Height: 25.5 inches (88th percentile)
Head: 15.5 inches (9th percentile)
Just like her big brother and sister... long!

She rolled over for the first time on her 4 month birthday and has been doing it ever since.
She sleeps from about 8 to 4, sometimes longer.
Loves to play in her exersaucer, and sit in her bumbo.
She can hold her toys now.
Quincey is not shy with her smiles, she will give them to anyone who is looking, or even if she thinks they are looking!
We love her so much!

And just for fun...

Tayah's 4th Birthday

Tayah had a My Little Pony party with all her cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandparents.
It was a beautiful day, so we spent it outside. She was so pumped and got super spoiled as usual!

The Games:

For the first game, we had "Rainbow Dash's Race." The kids were in teams and had to ride their ponies across the lawn, go around a cone, do a trick and ride back.

Then we had "Pinkie Pie's Eating Contest" where they had to eat a hostess cupcake without hands. They all got pretty dirty... and loved it!

 The Cake:
Brian's Mom made her darling cake again this year. It is Rainbow Dash licking a cupcake. Loved it!
Blowing out her candles...

The After Party:

This is what I found about 30 minutes after everyone left. I was cleaning up the dishes and Tayah was breaking in her new DS with her new talking Pony, and then was out, like a light!
So sweet!

We took Tayah to her well check, and no surprise...
she is in the 93rd percentile for height.
84th percentile for her weight.
And absolutely GORGEOUS!
